As Christians, we define love by God's standard. Love is self-sacrificing, pure, and fulfilled in Christ. Our love for ourselves should extend to our love for others and is ultimately born out of our love for and obedience to Jesus. As we grow deeper in our relationship with our Creator, we can understand even more how His perfect love abides in us.
