What it does
With a blend of barrier-replenishing ingredients, including niacinamide, sodium PCA, plant squalane, five forms of ceramides, omega fatty acids, and powerful antioxidants, F-Balm™ effectively rehydrates hungover, overly parched skin, making it soft and supple. Tiny beads loaded with vitamin F burst during application to deliver extra emollience and soothing hydration.
How to use
Apply 4-5 pumps of F-Balm™ as the last step in your nighttime routine. May be worn as an overnight mask. Also can be layered over Virgin Marula Oil for an extra shot of absorbable moisture.
Ingredients
Vitamin F: Soothing fatty acids (linolenic and linoleic) play a key role in maintaining hydration levels, improving skin texture and suppleness while reducing inflammation and improving acid-mantle strength.
4-Electrolyte Blend: Coconut water, sodium PCA, magnesium PCA, and prickly pear extract are powerful electrolytes valuable for their antioxidant and humectant properties. They are vital to helping maintain hydration levels in skin, improving barrier strength and lipid content, calming redness, and protecting against environmental dehydration.
Niacinamide: Aka vitamin B3, niacinamide has a wide range of benefits, most notably its ability to improve signs of aging (fine lines, wrinkles, loss of firmness) as well as uneven tone and texture.
5-Ceramide Blend: Ceramides AP, NP, EOP, NS, and EOS are derived from plant sources and are identical to the wax-like moisturizing ceramides that occur naturally in skin. Ceramides help fill in the spaces between skin cells, giving them elasticity, and play a critical role in strengthening the skin barrier by helping to maintain the moisture balance of skin while protecting against water loss.
Squalane: Derived from olives, squalane is a natural moisturizing factor (NMF), which means it works exactly the same as the form of squalane that is found naturally in skin. Squalane acts as both a moisturizing agent and a natural antioxidant that soothes and prevents water loss from the surface of the skin without a greasy feel.
Quercetin: A potent plant-derived antioxidant bioflavonoid, quercetin acts as a powerful anti-inflammatory agent. Some research demonstrates its ability to promote healthy collagen production and speed the healing of damaged skin. Its benefits are amplified when paired with lipids and natural moisturizing factors.

Are your products organic / natural?
Our products combine the power of naturally occurring and advanced science ingredients that are simple to use, highly effective, non-toxic, non-irritating, and absolutely cruelty-free. We do not use aggressive, irritating ingredients. Beyond this, we do not like labels such as ‘organic,’ ‘natural’ or ‘clean,’ which have no consistent definition and tell you nothing about a product’s safety or efficacy. We are committed to bringing you the very best ingredient science and being certified “organic” does not always yield the best ingredient.
Do your products contain fragrance?
Generally not, but with limited exceptions. “Fragrance,” when used in our products like the ANTI-AGING BODY CREAM, is selected for its pleasant scent but also for its proven tolerability. Most fragrances contain allergic substances, or “allergens”: if present, it is compulsory to state this on the label, even if the percentage contained is minimal. Where possible, we tend to use fragrances which do not contain allergens and which should therefore give rise to fewer problems. When fragrance is present in a our product, is indicated in the list of ingredients as PARFUM or FRAGRANCE.
Is there talc in any of your products?
The minerals that are used to produce talc can contain asbestos, which is why there are legitimate concerns about its potential effect on our health. The talc used in our ENZYME CLEANSER, BABY BUM CREAM and tinted CLARIFYING SPOT TREATMENTS is NOT made of minerals that contain asbestos and thus is not carcinogenic and completely safe. The talc we use is periodically and consistently reviewed by independent laboratories.
What is the shelf life of my product?
All beauty products need to be used by a certain period. This is known as the 'period after opening' and can be easily identified by the PAO symbol. The symbol can be recognised as the shape of an opened jar, and will have a number inside; 9M will indicate 9 months, 12M is 12 months, and 36M is 36 months. Once opened the product should be used in this period, as after this time the quality of the product will deteriorate.
